SM1 An EEPROM operation successfully completed.
U[cmnd] If the board does not recognize a command message, or if it
does not have the appropriate number of arguments, the same
message will be returned by the board preceded by a U to
indicate an undefined message.
10.3 Diagnostic Tests
Several diagnostic tests can be run on the BRI ports to check the operation
of the port or the attached wiring. The commands to initiate these tests are:
XLxxm This test puts port xx in the loopback mode specified by m:
0: no loopback
1: loopback of channel B1 at the S/T interface
2: loopback of channel B2 at the S/T interface
3: loopback of both B channels
XTxxm This test can be used to output a square wave on port xx.
The test mode is specified by m:
0: normal, no test output
2: 96 kHz output
10.4 Auxiliary LED
SIm This message sets the mode for the AUX LED on the front
panel. The default mode is for the LED to be under the
control of the on board processor. When under the control
of the processor, the LED normally blinks green. If any
defined interface is not in the “up” state, it will blink yellow.
During a restart it will be solid green, and it will be solid
yellow during a reset using the “RA” command. The LED
