1. Check the nitrogen cylinder for 1800 psi (124.1 bar) minimum
cylinder pressure. Replace the cylinder if necessary before
starting the regulator test. Before disconnecting any parts,
release any pressure by loosening the agent tank fill cap.
Tighten before starting test.
2. Disconnect the low pressure nitrogen hose(s) from the regula-
tor outlet. Note: Wheeled unit is shown as an example.
3. For the 100/30 unit, disconnect hoses at tee downstream of
regulator on the low pressure side. (Note: Each hose has a
swivel at one end only; remove hose at swivel end first.) Plug
one side of tee.
4. Install the appropriate quick-connect plug to the low pressure
regulator outlet.
5. Attach the test hose to the quick-connect plug, using the cou-
pler on the test hose assembly.
6. Connect the test hose to the quick-connect plug on the regu-
lator tester.
7. Be certain that the test kit control ball valve is closed.
