System overview
Equipment description
The ASC+ Auto Split Charge (ASC) & Engine Start Protect (ESP) System comprises the
following equipment: -
Controller module
This module contains the following: -
• Micro-controller and necessary components to power & operate the system
• Connection point for the primary contactor
• Connection point for the secondary contactor
• Connection point for the user switch panel
• Connection point for the low-power permanent feed (e.g. clock, alarm)
• Connection point for the ignition input
User switch panel
This panel (see Figure 1) contains the following: -
• Two push switches with integral green LED
• Mounting panel with label and fixing hardware
