DRIVERS
COMPARTMENT
You
will find that
your
new motor
home drives
and handles
with comparitive
ease. For
good safety,
the basic
thing to
remember
is that it is larger
and heavier
than
your
passenger
car.
Because of
this, allow more
space for
turning and do
not
follow
the car
ahead too
closely,
you require
more stopping
space.
Sitting
over the front wheel
may cause you to crowd the center of the road. A
quick glance in the rear
view mirrors will indicate
how close your
vehicle is to
the center line. GENERALLY,
JUST EXERCISE MORE CAUTION IN
EVERY
RESPECT. “
Before you
start, however, familiarize yourself with the drivers compartment
and
locate all instruments on your dashboard. We also suggest
that you utilize
the
check lists provided in Section 2, before starting.
