Running Apple II Plus programs
on an Apple lie
If you run Apple II Plus software on an Apple lie, keep these
differences in mind,
• Programs designed for the Apple [[ Plus don't recognize lowercase
characters.
Press Caps lock and the programs should run,
• The Apple 1I Plus didn't have Delete, so programs designed for it
won't respond when you press Delete. Check the program manual
for instructions on how [0 delete characters.
• The Apple II Plus didn't have Up Arrow or Down Arrow, so
programs designed for it won', move the cursor up Of down when
you press these keys. Check the program manual for instructions
on how to move the cursor up and down.
Running Apple lie programs
on an Apple lie
If you run Apple lle software on an Apple lie, keep these differences
in mind:
• Apple lie programs may refer to your bullt-tn disk drive. That's
the S3rne as the Apple He's drive 1.
• Apple IIc programs may rdcr to the printer port, the mouse port,
or the communications port. l11e printer port is comparable to a
printer card in slot I. The mouse port is comparable to a mouse
card in slot 4. The communications pOrt is eqUivalent to a
communication card in slot Z,
