Mac Pro (Early 2008) Take Apart — Ambient Board 128
Procedure
Locate the ambient board on the inside left corner of the top panel, above the optical drive 1.
carrier.
Disconnect the ambient board cable from the ambient board.2.
Using a jeweler’s at-blade screwdriver, carefully pry the board from the enclosure. 3.
Important: After you replace the ambient board, you must reset the System Management
Controller. Refer to “Resetting the Logic Board” in the Troubleshooting chapter.
