A typical Mac system might consist

System unit
Keyboard
Mouse
Printer
Extra disk drive
Numeric keypad
Modem
System disk
Language disk(s)
Applications software disk(s)
The minimum requirements for a working Mac system
consist
of
the following items:

In
the following sections,
we
will describe the components
of
the basic Mac system as well as the devices and software
that
you will most likely wish
to
add
to it.
SYSTEM
UNIT
The system unit, as depicted in figure 1.2,
is
the heart
of
the Mac.
It
contains the Mac's electronic circuitry, a built-in
disk drive for storing information,
and
a built-in 9 inch, high
resolution monitor for displaying information.
