Using the specific spanner, unscrew the locking ring nut (3).
•
Use the adjuster ring nut (2) to adjust the preload of the spring (A).
•
Once the adjustment is done, screw the ring nut (3).
•
Use the screw (1) to adjust the shock absorber rebound hydraulic braking.
SET SPRING PRELOADING AND SHOCK ABSORBER REBOUND DAMPING AC-
CORDING TO THE VEHICLE USE CONDITIONS.
IF THE SPRING PRELOADING IS INCREASED, IT IS NECESSARY TO INCREASE
THE REBOUND DAMPING ACCORDINGLY TO AVOID SUDDEN JERKS WHEN
RIDING.
IF NECESSARY, CONTACT AN OFFICIAL APRILIA DEALER. TRY RIDING THE
VEHICLE ON THE STREET UNTIL THE OPTIMUM ADJUSTMENT IS OBTAINED.
