What to do if there is a leak or free flow at the 2nd stage of my Aqua Lung LX Supreme?
    • R
      Robert MartinezJul 31, 2025
If you experience a leak or free flow at the 2nd stage of your Aqua Lung Diving Instrument, several factors could be responsible. The intermediate pressure (MP) might be too high or too low, in which case you should refer to the First Stage Troubleshooting Guide. Alternatively, the valve could be worn or damaged, requiring replacement. The seat might not be correctly adjusted, so readjusting the seat may solve the issue. Other potential causes include a bent lever (replace the lever), a damaged seat sealing face (replace the seat), or a damaged spring (replace the spring). Finally, the valve might not be correctly adjusted, or the lever adjustment might be too low; in this case, readjust the lever and the valve.

Why is my Aqua Lung Diving Instrument leaking water?
    • G
      Gail WilliamsAug 13, 2025
If your Aqua Lung Diving Instrument is leaking water, there are several possible causes. A hole in the mouthpiece could be the culprit, requiring you to replace the mouthpiece. Alternatively, the diaphragm or the exhalation valve might be damaged, necessitating their replacement. A dirty, worn, or damaged venturi control O-ring could also be the cause, so replacing the O-ring might resolve the issue. Check that the diaphragm is correctly fitted between the casing and the washer. If not, disassemble the purge button and refit the assembly correctly. Inspect the sealing face of the exhalation valve for damage to the casing; if damaged, replace the casing. Finally, a damaged O-ring or insert O-ring could be the cause, requiring you to replace the O-ring.
