  If your pressure gauge reads higher than the actual pressure, it could be due to a malfunctioning pressure gauge (change the pressure gauge), a squashed gasket inside the pressure gauge partially obstructing the passage (slightly loosen the pressure gauge), or undersized passages across the valve and nozzle, leading to a significant pressure drop (choose section valve tubes and hose tails of the correct size).

  If the pressure cannot be lowered, it might be due to a non-working proportional valve motor. Check the electrical connection: the cable marked “P” must be connected to the proportional valve (yellow or grey collar). Also, the proportional valve drain passage might be clogged (clean the drain passage), or a hydraulic agitator might be connected to the drain passage of the proportional valve (remove the hydraulic agitator and leave the hole open). The drain tube of the proportional valve might be undersized (change the drain tube), or the proportional valve flow rate might be lower than the desired rate setting (change the proportional valve). If the motor is faulty, have the gearmotor inspected at the nearest Service Centre.

  If product issues from the section valves when the discharge valve is open, the discharge valve pipe may be blocked (clean drain passage), equipped with a hydraulic agitator (remove hydraulic agitator and leave hole open), or too small (change drain tube). Also, the discharge valve plug gasket may be worn (bring complete unit to the nearest Service Centre for gasket replacement) or there may be chemical product residue on the gaskets and the discharge valve hose tail fitting (clean parts with suitable detergent as indicated in cap. 6 - Maintenance / diagnostics / repairs).

  If one or more sections are not closing correctly, the section valve motor may not be working (check electric connection), the section valve plug gasket may be worn out (change worn gaskets), or there may be chemical residue on the gasket and seat of the section valve hose tail (clean parts with suitable detergent as indicated in cap. 6 - Maintenance / diagnostics / repairs). If the motor is faulty, have the gearmotor inspected at the nearest Service Centre.

  If you're experiencing large pressure fluctuations when one or two sections are closed, the metered by-passes may not be adjusted. Make sure to adjust the metered by-passes.

A clogged delivery or suction filter can also cause this issue, so clean the respective cartridges. Finally, ensure sufficient liquid is entering the control unit by checking the pump flow rate, increasing pump revs, and confirming there are no open offsets or discharges before the unit.
