What to do if brake pedal travel is excessive in my Arctic Cat Offroad Vehicle?
    • T
      Theresa RojasJul 30, 2025
If you observe excessive brake pedal travel in your Arctic Cat Offroad Vehicle, it could be due to several reasons. The hydraulic system may have air trapped inside; in this case, you should bleed the hydraulic system. Also, check the brake fluid level and add fluid to the proper level if it is low. If the brake fluid is incorrect, replace it with the correct fluid. A worn piston seal or cup could also be the culprit, requiring you to replace the seal or cup.

If the braking performance of your Arctic Cat Offroad Vehicle is poor, several factors could be responsible. The brake pads might be worn and need replacement. The pedal free-play could be excessive, requiring adjustment. A brake fluid leak could be present, necessitating repair or replacement of the hydraulic system. Air in the hydraulic system can also cause poor braking, so bleed the hydraulic system. Lastly, worn seals in the master cylinder or brake cylinder could be the issue, requiring seal replacement.
