  If your ARI Control Unit valve is continuously leaking, first check the line pressure to ensure it's at least 0.2 bar (3 psi) to seal properly. Also, consider whether the valve is installed correctly, especially if it's level with the water level in a tank. Inadequate pressure can prevent sealing. Additionally, perform the steps for basic maintenance to clear any debris that may be lodged in the seal or O-rings.

Why is my ARI D-040 valve leaking from the threads?

  If your ARI Control Unit valve leaks from the threads, the issue might be a damaged O-ring or stripped plastic threads. Try replacing the base O-ring and check for cross-threading. If the base is damaged, consider replacing it, or upgrading to a metal base for better durability.

What is the outlet thread size needed to attach a vent/drain pipe to my ARI Control Unit?

  If you need to attach a vent or drain pipe to the discharge outlet of your ARI Control Unit, the thread size depends on the model. For a 1" D-040, it has a 3/8” female thread, while a 2” D-040 has a 1¼” female thread. Ensure the end of the pipe remains open for the valve to function correctly.

How to fix broken discharge outlet on ARI D-040?

  The discharge outlet of the ARI Control Unit might be broken if the valve was hit or mishandled. You can easily replace it by gently prying off the old outlet with a screwdriver and pressure inserting the replacement part using a plastic hammer. You can order the replacement part from A.R.I. Keep in mind that this part is not mandatory for the valve's function.
