If your Ariens Lawn and Garden Equipment does not operate in forward or reverse, it could be due to: 1. A friction disc that is not adjusted properly. You should repair or replace the friction disc. Consult the Service and Adjustments on page 18. 2. A traction belt that is not functioning. You should repair or replace the traction drive belt. Consult the Service and Adjustments on page 18.
