  If your Ariston dishwasher isn't taking in water and you hear several short beeps accompanied by the 2 (Normal) and 3 (Soak) WASH CYCLES indicator lights flashing, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure there is water in the mains supply. Check if the water inlet hose is bent. Turn on the tap; the appliance should start after a few minutes. If the appliance lock has been activated because no action was taken when the beeps sounded, switch off the appliance using the ON/OFF button, turn on the tap, and switch the appliance back on after 20 seconds by pressing the same button. Then, re-program the appliance and restart the wash cycle.
