Do you have a question about the Ariston PH 930MST and is the answer not in the manual?
This document provides operating instructions for an Ariston hob, covering installation, usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting. It is available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.
The Ariston hob is a built-in cooking appliance designed for domestic use. It features various types of burners and heating elements to facilitate different cooking methods. The appliance is equipped with control knobs for adjusting heat levels and an ignition system for gas burners. Safety devices are integrated to prevent gas leaks in case of flame extinguishment.
The hob offers a versatile cooking experience with different types of burners and heating elements:
Gas Burners: Gas burners come in various sizes and power levels (Fast, Reduced Fast, Semi Fast, Auxiliary, Triple Crown, Semi-FishBurner) to accommodate different cookware diameters. To light a gas burner, press down and turn the corresponding control knob anti-clockwise to the maximum setting while holding a lit match or lighter near the burner. For models with an ignition button, press the button simultaneously. The knob should be held down for 2-3 seconds to allow the safety device to heat up and keep the flame alight. If the flame accidentally extinguishes, turn off the control knob and wait at least one minute before relighting. To switch off, turn the knob clockwise to the "off" position.
Half Fish-Kettle Burner (available on certain models): These are elliptic burners that can be rotated up to 90 degrees, offering flexibility for various cookware shapes. To rotate them, ensure they are cool, lift them out of their housing, and replace them in the desired position. These burners can be used in tandem or separately for fish-kettles, oval cookware, griddles, rectangular/square cookware (minimum 28x28 cm), large cookware (26-28 cm diameter), or single medium-sized cookware (16-20 cm diameter).
Electric Hot Plates (available on certain models): Electric hot plates offer six settings for various cooking needs, from cooking vegetables and fish (setting 1) to browning and reaching a boil quickly (setting 6). Before first use, heat the hot plates at maximum temperature for approximately 4 minutes without any pans to harden their protective coating.
Cooktop Broiler (available on certain models): The broiler is preheated by turning the knob to setting 12. Settings 1-8 are recommended for reheating food or keeping it warm. Cooking vegetables with the broiler may cause stains that are difficult to remove.
Ceramic Glass Module (available on certain models): This cooktop features dual-ring radiant heating elements. The circular part ("A") can be turned on by rotating the knob clockwise to any of the 12 settings. To enlarge the cooking surface to include section "B", turn the knob to setting 12, click it into the " " setting, and then rotate counter-clockwise to one of the 12 settings. The heating zones turn red when active. An indicator light illuminates when the knob is on any setting other than "Off".
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of the hob. Always disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
Cleaning the Appliance:
Gas Tap Maintenance: If the gas taps become jammed or difficult to turn over time, they must be replaced. This procedure must be performed by a qualified technician authorized by the manufacturer.
