  If your Asmoke Grill is producing too much smoke or the smoke is discolored, start by checking the fuel level in the hopper and replenish if it's low. The issue might be caused by poor fuel quality or an obstruction in the feed system. Also, inspect the temperature probe for grease build-up and clean it if necessary. Ensure you are using dry wood pellets, as moist pellets can cause this issue. Clear the fire pot of any obstructions and check the fan to ensure it's working correctly and that the air intake isn't blocked.

Why are there no power lights on my Asmoke AS500N-1 control board and it won't light?

  If your Asmoke Grill isn't lighting and the control board isn't showing any power lights, flashing dots or temperature, and there's fire in the fire pot, first, make sure the Temperature Control Dial is set to a temperature other than OFF, and that the button glows blue to confirm power. Also, verify the grill is properly plugged into a working power outlet and that the breaker hasn't tripped. Check that your GFCI is a minimum 10 Amp service. Inspect all wire connections to ensure they are secure and dry. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the fuse on the control board might be blown and needs replacing, or the control board itself may be faulty.

  If your Asmoke Grill won't maintain a stable temperature, it could be due to several reasons. First, if the unit has overheated, possibly due to a grease fire or excess fuel, turn the Temperature Control Dial to OFF and let the grill cool down. After it cools, perform maintenance, remove the pellets, and check the position of all parts. Check the temperature probe wires for damage and ensure the molex connectors are firmly and correctly connected to the control board. If there was a power outage during operation, turn the Temperature Control Dial OFF, wait two minutes, and then turn the unit back on. Lastly, inspect the meat probe for damage, and if found, contact Customer Service for a replacement. Also check the fire pot for ash build-up or obstructions.
