1.8. Maintenance and cleaning
Before you start cleaning the projector. Please make sure the power plug is unplugged
from the power outlet.
Do not use pesticides or other volatile chemicals on the projector or lens.
Do not use water.
Always use an attachment, like the brush, when using a vacuum cleaner.
When not used, it can cause severe damages to the projector
Cleaning the projector
Wipe the projector with a soft and dry cotton cloth. When the projector is extremely dirty, the
projector can be wiped with a soft cloth, diluted with a neutral detergent. After using the diluted
cloth, dry the projector with a clean cloth. Using chemicals is at your own risk. Please note that
damages made due to chemicals are not included in the warranty. Do not use water, benzine, or
other solvents. This may impact the outside of the projector.
Usage
Handle the projector with care. Bumps or drops may affect the performance of the product. The
Astarite Alpha is not waterproof and can suffer water damage when the projector comes into contact
with water. Water damage can lead to a short circuit or electric shock. So do not place the projector
near water, splashes, objects containing water (such as vases or drinking glasses) or other liquids. If
the projector has been on continuously for 4 hours, it should be switched off for at least 30 minutes
for optimal lifespan and performance. Use the supplied power cable to power the projector. Prevent
the power cable from being bent, twisted or damaged. A broken cable can lead to failure, shock or
other errors.
Cleaning the lens
Use a professional blower or a special glass cleaning paper to remove the dust on the lens. This will
avoid making scratches on the lens.
