2.6 Power menu
The Power menu items allow you to change the settings for the Advanced Power
Management (APM). Select an item then press <Enter> to display the conguration options.
2.6.1 Suspend Mode [Auto]
Allows you to select the Advanced Conguration and Power Interface (ACPI) state to be used
for system suspend.
[S1 (POS) only] Sets the APCI suspend mode to S1/POS (Power On Suspend).
[S3 only] Sets the APCI suspend mode to S3/STR (Suspend To RAM).
[Auto] The system automatically congures the ACPI suspend mode.
2.6.2 ACPI 2.0 Support [Enabled]
[Disabled] When set to [Disabled], the system will not add additional tables as per
ACPI 2.0 specications.
[Enabled] When set to [Enabled], the system adds additional tables as per ACPI 2.0
specications.
2.5.5 PCIPnP
The PCIPnP menu items allow you to change the advanced settings for PCI/PnP devices.
Plug And Play O/S [No]
When set to [No], BIOS congures all the devices in the system. When set to [Yes] and if
you install a Plug and Play operating system, the operating system congures the Plug and
Play devices not required for boot. Conguration options: [No] [Yes]
2.5.6 Intel VT-d [Disabled]
Enables or disables the Intel Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O. Conguration options:
[Enabled] [Disabled]
