TRIGONOMETRY
The

ATN(N)
where
N
is
a
number
or
a

The
angles
may
be
expressed
either
in
radians
or
degrees.
When

as
being
in
radians.
To
swi
tch
to
degrees
use
the
command
DE
G.
The
corresponding

.
the

A
radian

the

the
length

an
arc
of
a
circle
to
the
radius.
In
the
diagram
overleaf,
the
angle
A
in
radians
is
L/R.
The
circumference
of
a
circle
is
2n
times
its
radius
(21TR), so
it
follows
that
360
degrees

equivalent
to
21T
radians.
