Automatic Bottom Blowdown Control Valve
2. DESCRIPTION & FUNCTIONS
The Bottom Blowdown Valve BCV 700 opens in response to a signal from the Smart Bottom Blowdown Controller BC 700
according to determined frequency and duration of the blowdown.
The bottom blowdown valve enables a fast opening which is necessary for the blowing down. This fast opening causes
a suction in the boiler whereby deposits solids are flushed out of the boiler.
