8.4 Environmental conditions
The environmental requirements of the P-range
generator sets are:
– ambient temperature: -15–40°C
– humidity: below 95%
– altitude: max. 1000 meters
The generator set can only be loaded to the rated
power under the specified environmental conditions.
If the environmental conditions do not meet the above
standards, or if the cooling conditions of the engine
and generator set are defective; e.g. when operating in
small spaces, the power should be reduced. It is also
necessary to reduce the power when the temperature,
altitude and relative humidity exceed the standards.
