Feeding the screws
1. Open the screw bin lid.
2. Add screws until they come to 3mm from the top of the rail.
3. Do not overload the screw bin.
4. The motor protection circuit will not start the feeder if it is overloaded.
5. To switch ON the unit, insert the AC adaptor plug into the DC jack at the
rear of the feeder and insert the AC adaptor into the mains supply and turn
on the power switch (the indicator will illuminate).
6. The screw dipping plate and the rail will begin oscillating and the unit will
start feeding screws.
7. When the screw rail is full the unit will stop automatically.
8. On removal of a screw the unit will start to oscillate and refill the screw
rail.
To pick up screws
1. Attach a magnetized bit to your screwdriver to match the head of the
screw.
2. Place the screwdriver bit somewhere in the opening of the bit guide and
push it straight down while turning the bit slightly, until it engages in the
screw head.
3. The back and forth movement of the rail will stop when the screwdriver bit
reaches the bottom of the screw head slot.
4. Then pull the screw out towards you.
Be careful not to push the screwdriver bit into the screw head with too
much force.
5. If the driver is lowered onto the screw head with moderate force, the back
and forth movement of the rail will stop.
6. Do not use more pressure than necessary to stop the back and forth move-
ment of the rail.
