1.13. Hot water tank.
Disconnect and remove the following boiler
omponents:- c
Gas valve
Fan/burner assembly
High limit thermostat
Temperature & pressure relief valve
Boiler control unit
Pump
Front section of insulation shell.
Disconnect the top water connection (Fig 50) and
ottom water connections at the rear of the tank. b
Disconnect and remove the tank's top and bottom
retaining brackets by releasing their fixing screws
ituated on both sides of the tank. s
Cut the domestic cold and hot water pipes approx
50mm above where they penetrate the boiler case.
Remove hot water tank and fit replacement in
reverse order, using the two 15mm compression
fittings provided to reconnect the domestic hot and
cold water pipes.

In addition, disconnect the connections to the fast
recovery coil (Fig 51).
