Why is my Atmos Boiler not reaching the required temperature?
    • A
      Amanda HallAug 8, 2025
If your Atmos Boiler isn't reaching the required output temperatures, several factors could be responsible. Ensure there's enough water in the system by refilling it. The pump output might be excessive, so adjust the pump's switching and flow rate. Low-quality fuel, such as firewood with high moisture content or oversized logs, can also cause this issue; use dry firewood and split logs into halves. Finally, a leaking ignition valve may be the culprit, requiring repair.

What to do if the ventilator of my Atmos DC40SX does not turn?
    • T
      thomasamyAug 14, 2025
If the ventilator of your Atmos Boiler isn't turning, first check if the boiler overheated, causing the safety thermostat fuse to trip; if so, press the thermostat push-button (using a pencil). A clogged rotating wheel can also prevent the ventilator from turning, so clean the ventilator, including the ducting, from tar and sediments. Other potential causes include a defective capacitor or motor, requiring replacement, or a bad contact in the plug of the motor cable lead, which should be checked.

How to fix leaking doors on my Atmos DC40SX?
    • C
      Cynthia NormanAug 21, 2025
If the doors of your Atmos Boiler are leaking, it could be due to a defective fibreglass cord, which needs replacement. Another cause might be a clogged nozzle; in this case, adjust the door hinges. Insufficient chimney draught can also contribute to this issue; avoid burning small-particle wood, sawdust, and bark.

What to do if the “mains” indicator is not lit up on my Atmos Boiler?
    • H
      Holly JimenezAug 26, 2025
If the “mains” indicator on your Atmos Boiler is not lit, check for voltage in the network and ensure the plug is correctly inserted into the electrical socket. If these are fine, the power supply switch or electric cord may be defective and require replacement.

What causes Atmos DC40SX to not reach required outputs?
    • J
      Jasmine HarrisSep 1, 2025
If your Atmos Boiler isn't reaching its required outputs and pre-set water temperatures, several issues might be responsible. Insufficient chimney draught can be a cause, suggesting a new chimney or unsuitable connection. Excessive chimney draught can also be a factor; in this case, place a throttle valve (draught limiter) in the flue-gas duct. Bent blades of the draught ventilator can reduce output; straighten the blades to a 90° angle. Other potential reasons include ignition being too long or the boiler being operated with the ignition flap open, requiring replacement, an insufficiently cleaned boiler, which needs cleaning, or a clogged combustion-air inlet to the loading chamber, which also requires cleaning.
