Correcting window regulator
malfunction
After disconnecting the vehicle battery, the
one-touch up and down feature must be acti-
vated again.
.. Pull and hold the power window switch un-
til the window is completely closed.
.. Release the switch and pull the switch again
for one second.
Sunroof
Operation sliding/tilting sunroof
Applies to vehicles: with sliding/tilting sunroof

Tilting
Requirement: the roof switch must be in the

.. To close it, briefly pull the switch¢ .&, .
.. To set an inte rmediate position, press/pull
t he switc h until the roof reaches the desired
posit ion.
Opening/sliding (version 1)
.. To move the sunroof to the position for re-
duced wind noise, turn the switch to posi-
t ion
CD unt il resistance can be felt .
.. To open the sunroof complete ly, tu rn and
hold the switch against the resistance in po-
sit ion @ .
.. To close the sunroof comple t ely, t urn t he
switch to @ posit ion

.. To select a setting in between, turn the
switch to the desired position .
Opening/ sliding (version 2)
.. To slide the roof all the way open, turn the
switch to t he
CD posit ion.
.. To close the sunroof completely, turn the
switch to @ position ¢ .&, .
.. To select a setting in between, turn the
switch to the desired position .
The sunshade can be opened and closed man-
ually in any posit ion. When opening the sun-
roof, the sunshade is automatically opened.
After t he ignit ion is switche d off, you can st ill
operat e the sunroof f or about 10 minutes . As
soon as the driver's or passenger's door is
opened, the switch is inoperative .

Pay careful attention when closing the
sunroof - otherw ise serio us injury could re-
sult! For th is reason, always remove the ig-
nit ion key when leaving the vehicle.

Always close your sunroof when leaving
your vehicle. Sudden rain can cause dam-
age to t he interior equipment of your vehi-
cle, part icularly the electronic equipment .
