– Set up gearbox support - T10337- on engine and gearbox jack
- VAS 6931- and position underneath gearbox, as shown in
illustration.
– Raise gearbox slightly.
WARNING
Risk of accident.
♦ Engine and gearbox jack - VAS 6931- must remain in po‐
sition when work is being carried out and must not be left
unattended.
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- and nuts -1- and remove tunnel cross
member.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
