Clocking Configurations
ORIA can be used as either the Controller, providing clock to other devices or as the
Peripheral, receiving a clock from other devices. It is important to only ever have one
Controller in a setup or you may get clicks and pops in your audio due to clocking errors.
Oria as the Controller:
Wordclock can be sent out of ORIA via the BNC Output to other devices to allow other
devices to sync to ORIA’s clock.
If you wish to connect multiple devices to ORIA’s BNC Output then you would need to
make use of BNC T-Connectors as shown in the diagrams. When connecting multiple
devices, it’s important that only the last device in the chain has its 75 Ohm BNC
termination enabled. If you are unsure how to enable/disable 75 Ohm termination,
please refer to the user manual for the external device.
