The product uses proprietary active
noise-cancelling technology
to
provide a
comfortable listening
environment
in
areas
with
high ambient noise. The product features a miniature microphone
in
each earpiece
that pick up ambient noise (such
as
traffic,
air-handling
systems, etc.) and create a
sound-cancelling signal
to
effectively block
the noise.

The
noise-cancelling
function
of
the product mainly
operates to reduce noise at
300
Hz
or lower, which means it has
almost
no effect on noise that
is
above this frequency (such
as
telephone ringtones and voices).
•
The
noise-cancelling
function may have
limited
effect
when
used
in
quiet
locations
or
when
used to
cancel
certain
types
of
noise.
