Channel Settings: Configure the Channel Settings field, as described below.
All settings, except the following, should remain the same as they are shown in the
screen. For more details, refer to the AudioCodes MP-104 Users Manual.
DTMF Transport Type: Should match the DTMF Encoding Setting on the
IPRC Device page (with a v1.5.2 firmware IPRC) and the settings in Axxess
Database Programming (with a v8.2.0 or later firmware IPRC).
If the system uses G.711 vocoder:
(With a v1.5.2 firmware IRPC) The Audio Settings and DTMF Encoding
Setting pages in the IPRC Web page must be set to G.711 Mu/A-Law.
(With a v8.2.0 or later firmware IRPC) The DTMF Encoding Setting
under System\IP-Related Information\Call Configurations in Axxess
Database Programming must be set to G.711 Mu/A-Law.
The DTMF Transport Type and MF Transport Type, shown above, must
be set to Transparent DTMF and Transparent MF, respectively.
If the system uses G.729 or RFC 2833 vocoder:
(With a v1.5.2 firmware IRPC) The Audio Settings page in the IPRC Web
page must be set to G.72 9 , and the DTMF Encoding Setting page must be
set to Out-Of-Band.
(With a v8.2.0 or later firmware IRPC) The DTMF Encoding Setting
under System\IP-Related Information\Call Configurations in Axxess
Database Programming must be set to G.7 29 or RFC2833.
The DTMF Transport Type and MF Transport Type, shown above, must
be set to RFC2833 Relay DTMF and RFC2833 Relay MF, respec-
tively.
