FUNCTIONS
(1) indicator lights when a call is in pro-
ess.
(2) (no service) indicator lights when the
unit IS m a non-coverage area.
(3) indicator lights when the unit is out of the

(5) IS used as a POWER ON indicator which lights
when the unit is on.
(6) RECEIVING SIGNAL STRENGTH INDICA-
TOR: The number of shaded blocks indicates the
Received Signal Strength.
(7) 15-CHARACTER FUNCTiONAL ALPHA-
NUMERIC DISPlAY:
The first 5 characters indicate current
function and status conditions.
The remaining 10 characters show the last 10
digits of the dialed number.
(8) ~ (Voice Mail Access Key) permits you to
access your carrier's network services, such as
Voice Mail.
(9) EM1d (One Touch Dial Key) permits you to place
a call by a single key stroke.
(10) ~ (power on/off key) is used to turn the uirlt
on/off.
(11) ~ {send key) for placing or receiving a call.
(12) COO {end key) ternIinates a call.
(13) ~ (function key) shifts the digit keys to the
functional keys.
(14) ~ {recall key) recalls phone numbers from
repertory memory.
(15) ~ {store key) stores phone numbers in
repertory memory.
(16) ~ (clear key) clears the digit{s) from the
display.
