CAUTION: water may flow when disconnecting and opening the pressure filter,
make sure that this water cannot cause damage.
If taps are installed in the pipes close them before disconnecting the pipes.
1) Turn off the pump and pressure filter by unplugging the plugs.
2) Disconnect all pipes (Fig. 6 - A, F and G) from the pressure filter.
3) Remove the clamping ring (15) from the pressure filter (fig.8 A-D).
4) Slowly lift the cover with the quartz glass straight up from the pressure
filter. Note that the quartz glass is fragile (fig.9).
5) Remove the filter cartridge with 2 hands from the tank (17) (fig.10).
6) Place the filter cartridge face up on a clean, flat and firm surface.
7) Turn the UV-c tube cap (11) counterclockwise and remove it from the UV-c
tube.
8) Remove the screw (27) plate (26) and lower bearing (25) from the pivot rod
(24).
9) Remove the black cap (10).
10) Remove the filter foam rings (9) from the UV-c tube (Pay close attention to
how they are mounted).
11) Remove the plastic frame from the filter foam.
12) Clean the filter foam with clean tap or pond water.
If the filter foams are no longer cleanable, or have fallen out of shape, they
must be replaced.
13) Replace the filter foam on the plastic frame.
14) Place the foam rings (9) alternately (yellow, blue, yellow etc.) back around
the UV-c tube, start with the foam ring which is fitted with the gear wheel.
15) Place the black cap (10) back on the UV-c tube, make sure the pivot rod
(24) and the pivot rod holder (25) are properly assembled again and
assemble the lower bearing (25) the plate (26) and screw (27).
16) Put the UV-c tube cap (11) back on the UV-c tube and fix it by turning the
UV-c tube cap (11) clockwise.
17) Remove the basket(s) (16A,17A,18A,19A) from the tank (17/19) and rinse
with clean tap or pond water.
18) Also clean the tank (17 for E-15, E-25 and E-35 / 19 for E-55 and E-70) and
o-ring (16) with clean tap or pond water.
19) Place the basket(s) (16A,17A,18A,19A) back into the tank (17/19).
20) Place the o-ring (16) back on the tank (fig.11).
21) Using 2 hands, place the filter cartridge straight back into the tank, note the
FIX point (fig.10 and 12).
22) Replace the cover with the quartz glass slowly, straight. Pay attention to the
FIX point (fig.9 and 12). Please note that the quartz glass is fragile.
23) Replace and clamp the clamping ring (15) (fig.8 E-H).
24) Reconnect all pipes to the pressure filter (remember the seal (21)):
a) Reinstall the supply hose/tube on connection (A).
b) Reinstall the return hose/tube on connection (F).
25) Reinstall the waste water hose/tube on connection (G).Operate the pump by
plugging in the mains plug. Follow the instructions of the pump.
26) If there is no leakage, the pressure filter can be put into operation, by
plugging the mains plug into the socket.
