Cause Search Solution
The box spring fails to
respond to the remote
control
Wrong infrared channel. Check that the switch on
the remote control and
the switch on the control
box are set to the same
channel.
If not: switch one of the
switches to the correct
channel.
The box spring fails to
respond to the infrared
remote control
The signal from the
handset is not being
picked up by the
receiver in the control
unit. The signal may fail
to reach the receiver if
the handset is a
substantial distance
from the control unit or
the latter is covered by
a duvet, for example.
Check if the system
works by pointing the
handset directly at the
control unit beneath the
bed. Check if the control
unit has been fixed
properly.
Remove the duvet or
blankets that may be
interrupting the signal.
Install IR preamplifier if
necessary.
Infrared remote
control, lights blinking
Processor failure. Reset. Take batteries
out, push some buttons.
Put batteries in again.
The box spring fails to
respond to the remote
control with cable
Ruptured wire in cable. Check cable at strain
relieve.
Replace.
Hinge defect
Transport failure. Replace upper frame.
