This document describes the Ausclimate Cool Seasons Premium 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier, model AU1910DD.
Function Description
The Ausclimate Cool Seasons Premium 10L Desiccant Dehumidifier is designed to remove excess moisture from the air, creating a more comfortable and healthier indoor climate. It utilizes desiccant rotor technology, specifically zeolite, for dehumidification, making it effective even at lower temperatures where compressor dehumidifiers may struggle. The unit also features nano-silver embedded air filters to kill bacteria and improve air quality. It offers various operating modes, including a "Laundry Mode" for faster drying of clothes and a "Timer" function for scheduled operation.

- Up to 12-hour Timer: For added convenience, allowing users to set the operating duration.
- Temperature Range for Use: Operates effectively in temperatures from 1°C to 40°C.
- Light & Portable with Carry Handle: Designed for easy movement.
- Removable Water Bucket with Handle: Simplifies the process of emptying collected water.
- Auto Restart After Power Cut: The appliance will continue to operate at the selected settings prior to the power failure once power is restored.
- Automatic Louver Wide Range (max 150°): Features a 3-stage automatic air swing to meet various needs, with options for "UP" (upward range of approx. 100°), "FRONT" (front range of approx. 50°), and "WIDE" (wide range of approx. 150°). A "HOLD" setting stops the swinging.
- Control Panel: Equipped with soft-touch buttons for Swing, Timer, Laundry Mode, Dry Mode, and ON/OFF. Indicators show water level (full), check status, and selected mode/time.
- Operating Modes:
- ON and OFF: Connect power, press ON/OFF. In case of power failure, the unit will continue to operate at selected settings prior to the power failure.
- DRY MODE: Offers "AUTO," "LOW," and "HIGH" settings.
- AUTO: Maintains a comfortable relative humidity (50-55%RH).
- LOW: Runs the fan at a low speed, suitable for maintaining room humidity at 50-55%RH.
- HIGH: Super dry mode to prevent dampness, condensation, and mould, maintaining humidity at 40-45%RH.
- LAUNDRY MODE: Offers "SAVING" and "TURBO" settings for drying clothes.
- SAVING: Suitable for warmer temperatures, providing high-speed warm dry air to achieve 50-55%RH.
- TURBO: Suitable for cooler winter temperatures, providing high-speed warm dry air to achieve 35-40%RH.
- AUTO SWING LOUVER: Selectable "SWING" key for preferred air louver angle (UP, FRONT, WIDE, HOLD).
- TIMER: Selectable running times (2, 4, 8, or 12 hours). The unit automatically switches off. If no timer is set, it runs continuously until the bucket is full.
- Water Bucket Emptying: When the bucket is full, the "FULL" LED lights up, and the unit stops. The bucket can be pulled out, lifted, and emptied.
- Continuous Drainage: A 1.2M drain hose is included for continuous drainage. A knockout at the back of the unit can be removed to attach the hose, which should lead downwards without sharp bends.

Troubleshooting
The manual provides a troubleshooting guide for common issues:
- Unit not operating: Check power connection, power cord/plug damage, water container fullness, correct bucket placement, and clogged air filter.
- Device not dehumidifying: Check if room temperature is too low (below 1°C) or relative humidity is too low.
- Unit not drying quickly enough: Set to 'High' DRY MODE or LAUNDRY MODE.
- Unit works but reduces humidity insufficiently / little water in tank: Room may be too large, too many moisture sources, or blocked air filter.
- Unit blowing out warm air: This is normal, part of the dehumidification process.
- Unit is noisy: Check for blocked air filter or uneven surface.
- Fan still runs after turning unit off: Normal, fan cools internal heater for about 2 minutes.
- "Check" LED illuminated: Unit may not be working properly; clean filter, leave to stand for 20 minutes, ensure not in front of hot radiator.
- Odour coming from unit: Zeolite desiccant material may return household odours; this is not harmful and will not last long.
