great help to you. Remember to read the instruction manual before using the ap-
pliance for the first time in order to ensure safe usage. If you have any doubt or

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND NOTE THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
AND WARNINGS. USE THE APPLIANCE CORRECTLY AND WITH CARE FOR THE PUR-
POSE FOR WHICH IT IS INTENDED. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO
PROPERTY AND/OR SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY. KEEP THIS INSTRUCTION MAN-
UAL SAFE FOR FUTURE USE.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Only a qualified electrician is allowed to perform electrical installations to the appliance.
Lifting equipment
- All hoist components and lifting equipment must be compatible with each other and have
the rating of not less than the maximum capacity of the hoist.
- Do not operate the hoist unless the hook is equipped with lifting equipment that are of
correct size, properly attached, classified, approved and especially designed for lifting.
- Always use hooks with latches to prevent the load from detaching.
Work area
- Warn people of the approaching load.
- Do not operate the hoist until all people are clear of the supported load.
- Make sure the load is free to move and will clear all obstructions.
Load
- Do not exceed the rated capacity of the hoist.
- Do not fasten the load unless the chain is properly seated in the chain sprocket.
- Do not fasten the load by wrapping the chain around it.
- Do not operate the hoist unless the load is properly centered under the hoist.
- Do not apply load to the tip of the hook or to the hook latch. Make sure the hook latches
are closed and not supporting any part of the load.
- Do not operate the hoist if it is restricted from forming a straight line from hoist to hook in
the direction of loading.
- Do not leave the load hanging without support – the hoist is not designed for prolonged
suspension works.
- Avoid swinging the load or the hook.
