PRIOR TO USE
Unpack the appliance and check that all parts are included. If any part is missing or dam-
aged, contact your dealer immediately. Dispose all packing material according to local regu-
lations.
Removing the battery from the drill
To remove the Battery from the drill, press the Battery Release and pull the Battery forwards
out of the Battery Slot at the base of the drill.
Installing a charged battery
1. To fit a charged Battery to the drill, slide it into the Battery Slot. Note: The Battery will fit
only in one direction, which is determined by its shape and the design of the battery hous-
ing. However, if the Battery does not slide into the housing easily, do not force it. Instead,
pull the Battery out of the housing again, check for correct position, and try again gently.
