Thedevicemakesnosound
CheckifthedeviceisinMaintenancemode.Ifit’sinmaintenancemode,turnitoff.
Problemswiththelight
Thedeviceisnotasbright
asexpected
CheckthataPoEclass4powersupplyisused.
Checkthedevice’sambienttemperature.Ifthedeviceisinstalledinahightemperature
environment,thelightswilldimautomatically.
Performanceconsiderations
Thefollowingfactorsareimportanttoconsider:
•Heavynetworkutilizationduetopoorinfrastructureaffectsthebandwidth.
•Formaximumlightoutput,aPoEClass4powersourceisrequired.
•Thelightoutputcanbereducedifthedeviceissoiled,orathighambienttemperatures.
•Inbrightenvironmentssuchasindirectsunlight,considerusingthesunshieldaccessorytoimprovevisibility.
•Thesoundoutputcanbereducedifthesirenisblockedorifthedeviceisnotcorrectlyclosed.
•Theinstallationenvironmentcanaffectthesoundoutput.Thesoundvolumecanbehigherifthedeviceisinstalledona
wallorinanenclosedspace,andlowerifinstalledonapoleinanopenspace.
