minimalnetworkbandwidth.TheMQTTclientinAxisdevicermwarecansimplifyintegrationofdataandeventsproducedinthe
devicetosystemswhicharenotvideomanagementsystems(VMS).
SetupthedeviceasanMQTTclient.MQTTcommunicationisbasedontwoentities,theclientsandthebroker.Theclientscan
sendandreceivemessages.Thebrokerisresponsibleforroutingmessagesbetweenclients.

ALPN
ALPNisaTLS/SSLextensionthatallowsfortheselectionofanapplicationprotocolduringthehandshakephaseoftheconnection
betweentheclientandserver.ThisisusedtoenableMQTTtrafcoverthesameportthatisusedforotherprotocols,suchasHTTP.
Insomecases,theremightnotbeadedicatedportopenforMQTTcommunication.AsolutioninsuchcasesistouseALPNto
negotiatetheuseofMQTTastheapplicationprotocolonastandardport,allowedbytherewalls.
