Youcanusethemanualtriggertomanuallytriggerarule.Themanualtriggercan,forexample,beusedtovalidateactions
duringproductinstallationandconguration.
MQTT
MQTT(MessageQueuingTelemetryTransport)isastandardmessagingprotocolfortheInternetofThings(IoT).Itwasdesignedfor
simpliedIoTintegrationandisusedinawidevarietyofindustriestoconnectremotedeviceswithasmallcodefootprintand
minimalnetworkbandwidth.TheMQTTclientinAxisdevicermwarecansimplifyintegrationofdataandeventsproducedinthe
devicetosystemswhicharenotvideomanagementsoftware(VMS).
SetupthedeviceasanMQTTclient.MQTTcommunicationisbasedontwoentities,theclientsandthebroker.Theclientscan
sendandreceivemessages.Thebrokerisresponsibleforroutingmessagesbetweenclients.

ALPN
ALPNisaTLS/SSLextensionthatallowsfortheselectionofanapplicationprotocolduringthehandshakephaseoftheconnection
betweentheclientandserver.ThisisusedtoenableMQTTtrafcoverthesameportthatisusedforotherprotocols,suchasHTTP.
Insomecases,theremightnotbeadedicatedportopenforMQTTcommunication.AsolutioninsuchcasesistouseALPNto
negotiatetheuseofMQTTastheapplicationprotocolonastandardport,allowedbytherewalls.

Username:Entertheusernamethattheclientwillusetoaccesstheserver.
Password:Enterapasswordfortheusername.
ClientID:EnteraclientID.Theclientidentierissenttotheserverwhentheclientconnectstoit.
Cleansession:Controlsthebehavioratconnectionanddisconnectiontime.Whenselected,thestateinformationisdiscarded
atconnectanddisconnect.
Keepaliveinterval:Enablestheclienttodetectwhentheserverisnolongeravailablewithouthavingtowaitforthelong
