NATtraversal
UseNAT(NetworkAddressTranslation)traversalwhenthedeviceislocatedonanprivatenetwork(LAN)andyouwantto
makeitavailablefromoutsideofthatnetwork.

EachNATtraversalprotocolcanbeusedseparatelyorindifferentcombinationsdependingonthenetworkenvironment.
•ICE:TheICE(InteractiveConnectivityEstablishment)protocolincreasesthechancesofndingthemostefcient
pathtosuccessfulcommunicationbetweenpeerdevices.IfyoualsoenableSTUNandTURN,youimprovetheICE
protocol’schances.

itislocatedbehindaNATorrewall,andifsoobtainthemappedpublicIPaddressandportnumberallocatedfor

•TURN:TURN(TraversalUsingRelaysaroundNAT)isaprotocolthatletsadevicebehindaNATrouterorrewallreceive
