fourmountingholesforeachbracket.
2.Drillthefourmountingholes.
3.Attachthevideoencodertothewallusingappropriatescrews.
Connectthecables
1.ConnectthevideoencodertothenetworkusinganetworkcableRJ45(NET)and/ora
SFPmoduleandopticbreorcoppernetworkingcable.
2.Optionallyconnecttheexternalinput/outputdevices.
3.Optionallyconnectactivespeakersand/orexternalmicrophones.
4.Connectthecamerastothevideoinputs.
5.Connectthesuppliedindoorpoweradapter.
6.CheckthattheindicatorLEDsindicatethecorrectconditions.SeeLEDIndicatorson

Inordertousethebuilt-innetworkredundancyfunctionality,boththeRJ45(NET)andthe
SFPmodulemustbeconnected.SeeNetworkRedundancyonpage16
AuxiliaryConnector
ThevideoencoderisequippedwithanadditionalRJ45networkconnector.Thepurposewith
thisconnectoristosimplifymaintenanceworkonthevideoencoderthatrequiresconnection
toacomputer.
Note
Theauxiliaryconnectorshouldonlybeconnectedduringmaintenanceworkandshouldnot
beconnectedtothesamenetworkastheSFP/NETconnectors.
NetworkRedundancy
Thevideoencoderhavebuilt-innetworkredundancyfunctionality.Thenetworkredundancy
functionalityworksautomaticallyandrequiresthatboththeSFPmoduleandtheRJ45connector
(NET)areconnected.
