Important
Usetheresettofactorydefaultfunctionwithcaution.Aresettofactorydefaultresetsallsettings,includingtheIPaddress,
tothefactorydefaultvalues.
1.GotoMaintenance>Factorydefault.
2.ClickDefault.
3.ClickRestoreall.
Itisalsopossibletoresetparameterstofactorydefaultwiththerestartbutton.Withthedeviceturnedon,pressandholdthe
restartbuttonfor10seconds.
Firmwareoptions
Axisoffersproductrmwaremanagementaccordingtoeithertheactivetrackorthelong-termsupport(LTS)tracks.Beingonthe
activetrackmeanscontinuouslygettingaccesstoallthelatestproductfeatures,whiletheLTStracksprovideaxedplatformwith
periodicreleasesfocusedmainlyonbugxesandsecurityupdates.
Usingrmwarefromtheactivetrackisrecommendedifyouwanttoaccessthenewestfeatures,orifyouuseAxisend-to-endsystem
offerings.TheLTStracksarerecommendedifyouusethird-partyintegrations,whicharenotcontinuouslyvalidatedagainstthelatest
