BATTERY
Inserting the battery
The battery is not included with this device. Please purchase a
commercially available CR1632 that conforms to UL 1642 (CCN:
BBCV 2) as needed.
Be sure to insert or replace the battery when the power is OFF.
(1) Remove the main unit from the base. Place the battery on
the battery holder on the back of the main unit, tilting the
battery as shown below.
(2) Push the battery into the battery holder with your finger.
(3) Connect the main unit to the base.
(4) Set the date and time using the SLP-SVG Smart Loader
Package.
Handling Precautions

Be sure to insert the battery with the plus sign facing
upward.
Removing the battery
(1) Remove the main unit from the base. Insert a non-metal
object with a flat tip between the battery and the battery
holder on the back of the main unit to make the battery
come out of the holder.
(2) Remove the battery with your fingers.
Battery disposal
When discarding the battery, dispose of it appropri-
ately, following local regulations.
DISPOSAL
When disposing of this device, please remove the battery first and
dispose of the device appropriately as industrial waste in accordance
with local laws and regulations.
