13.2 Combo-tower
Called Combo-tower this system manages the admission, classification and return of coins. It is a
special product that is designed and manufactured by Azkoyen. In the following lines, we will
explain the different elements of the Combo-tower system and the functions it carries out.
G1 Control board.
G2 Coin entry chute.
G3 Refund motor.
G4 Coin validator.
G5 Coin sorter
G6 Hopper “U-II”
G7 “V” escrow.
G8 Coin refund chute.
The admission of coins is managed with different elements:
G1 Control board Combo Tower: it powers and controls the electronic devices below.
G2 Coin entry chute bracket: bracket to hold the new coin chute for this system
G3 Refund module: eliminates the possible coin jams in the validator, this module is made up of
a motor with reducer gearbox powered with 12 Vdc, an end of run microswitch final and a system
for activating the lever of the validator.
