READ INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
Light eye protecon should be worn by operator and paent.

damaged.
• NeveruseanypowersourceotherthandomescAAsizebaeriescapableofdeliveringa
maximumvoltageof6vDC.
• Nevermodifytheringcuertorunonmainspower.
• NeverexaminearotangcungdiscexceptthroughthePerspexshield.
• Neverreusedamagedorbadlyworndiscs.
• Never start cung through a ring without rst applying a signicant quanty of water based
gel to the ring surface. The gel acts as a heat sink, traps cut ring debris and impedes
trajectory of parcles from a rotang disc.
• Neveroperatetheringcuerinanatmospherewhereasparkcouldcauseanexplosion.
• Neveruseorre-useacungdiscifeitheroneorbothplascwasherssupporngthediscare
missing.
• Alwaysengagethe“Lock”immobiliserswitchtodeacvatethemotorwhen:
a) Mounngordisconnecngacungdisc.
b) Engagingthengerguard.
c) Pausingduringcungtoexaminethecungprogress.
d) Wipingawayusedgelandreapplyingfreshgel.
e) Whenringcuerisnotbeingacvelyusedorleunaendedwhenstored.
Always:
• Examinecungdiscspriortouse.Discardanydamagedorbadlyworndiscs.
• Restthecungbladeontheringsurfacebeforeacvangthemotor.
• Warn the paent that the cung process generates heat and that the paent should warn
the operator if the heat build-up is causing discomfort. If this happens the cung process
must stop. The water based gel wiped from the ring surface and fresh cold gel reapplied
before re-starng the cung process.
• Cleanngerguardunitaeruse.
• RemovebaeryholderfromGEMbodyaeruse.
• Stop motor aer 10 minutes of connuous use and allow motor to cool down for 15 minutes
before re-starng.
