Why is my Baby Lock Coronet BLCT16A skipping stitches?
- BBradley BatesAug 1, 2025
If your Baby Lock Sewing Machine is skipping stitches, several factors could be responsible. The needle might be damaged, dull, bent, or improperly installed; in this case, replace the needle regularly, especially after quilting a project. Ensure you're using the recommended needle system. Also, check if the fabric is too tight on the frame, as overly tight fabric can cause fibers to separate and the fabric to bounce. Additionally, the thread tension might be too tight; check both the bobbin case and top thread tension and adjust accordingly. Using the incorrect needle size could also be the culprit, so experiment with different sizes to see what works best with your fabric, thread, and batting combination.
