Usage Features

The umbrella is designed for straightforward assembly and operation.

Assembly:
1. Step 1 (Finial Attachment): Attach the finial (Part C) to the threaded top of the umbrella frame (Part A) by screwing it on. Twist until secure, but avoid over-tightening.
2. Step 2 (Pole Connection): Insert the bottom pole (Part B) into the upper pole of the umbrella frame (Part A). Press the snap button on the bottom pole until it locks into position, securing the two pole sections together.
Opening the Umbrella:
1. Step 3 (Crank Operation): Turn the crank handle located on the umbrella pole in a clockwise direction to open the umbrella canopy.
Closing the Umbrella:
1. Step 3 (Crank Operation): To close the canopy, turn the crank handle in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise). It is important that the umbrella is in the upright position before attempting to close it.
Tilting the Umbrella:
1. Step 4 (Tilt Mechanism): To adjust the angle of the umbrella canopy, press the tilt button. While holding the button, adjust the umbrella top to the desired angle. Release the button to lock the umbrella in the new tilted position.
Safety Warnings:
- Always take the umbrella down when not in use to prevent damage or injury.
- Keep children away from the umbrella during assembly to avoid injury.
- If the crank becomes difficult to turn, check if the rope has come off the pulley. Continuing to force the crank may break the rope or crank handle.
- It is recommended to insert the umbrella into an umbrella base or table (not included) for securing it.
- Do not use the umbrella during periods of high winds and rain, as this can result in personal injury and/or damage.

Maintenance Features

Canopy Cleaning: Simply clean the umbrella canopy with a soft brush and a mild detergent.
Care Instructions:
- DO NOT iron the canopy.
- DO NOT machine wash or dry the canopy.
- AIR DRY the canopy thoroughly before storing it for an extended period to prevent mold or mildew.
