1. How do I charge the Power Top when the baery is dead?
YouhavetochargethePowerTopthroughanexternalchargerthroughtheGreyAndersonplug.TheCTEKMXS15(CT15000/12)is
therecommendedchargerforthePowerTop.
2. Can I jump-start my car from the PowerTop?
ThePowerTopisnotdesignedtojump-startaca r. Theunithasa50ampcurrentlimitinsidewhichisnotenoughtojump-starta
vehicle.
3. Can I charge from an external ciga-socket ed in my car?
ThisisnotrecommendedasthePowerTopstart-upchargermayblowthefuseintheciga-socket.However,somevehicleshave
cigaplugsratedupto15amp,iftheyareratedthishighitcanbechargedwithit.
4. Do you have diagrams for the Anderson plugs?
AlldiagramstodowiththeAndersonplugscanbefoundintheusermanualinthechargingsecon.Itwillshowtheapplicaonof
eachAndersonplug.
5. Do they have a solar power regulator?
Yes,theinternalsolarregulatorisusingavoltagecontrolrelaysystem.
Solar panel unregulated = Red
Solar panel regulated = Grey
6. Why does it ick between boost and oat while charging?
Thisisstandardoperaononthe2ndand3rdmodel.Thelightsareregulatedbyvoltagewhichtogglestowardstheendofthe
chargecycle.Thetogglinghappenswhenthebaeryisalmostfullycharged.
7. Can I use the sockets on the front if I am charging?
No,usingthesocketsatthefrontwhilechargingthroughthe240vsocketwillresultinthebaerynotcharging,anddraining
throughuse.However,onecandosoifyouuseanexternalcharger(around15amps)pluggedintotheGreyAndersonsocket,ora
largersolarpanel(atleast150wasorbigger)pluggedintotheRedAndersonsocket.Eitherwillsupplyenoughcurrenttosustain
baerychargingwhileusingappliances.
8. How do I connect my dual to the PowerTop?
TheelectronicsinthebluesocketaredierentandtheCTEK250SAneedstoconnectstraightacrosstheinternalbaerywhichis
accessedthroughtheGreysocket.
9. How do I stop the alarm going o?
Youcan’totherthankeepingthebaerychargedup.Thealarmgoesoat12.0voltsorless.Ideallyyoushouldnotdrainthe
