Inspection and Maintenance: (continued)
DAILY - Check power band belt and ensure tension is “taut” with no more than 1/2” of
deflection in the belt.

DAILYLubricate the carriage drive chains (1 per side).
We recommend Zep 2000 or heavy oil.
DAILYClean carriage wheel rails (1 per side) using an
air hose or brush.
DAILYCheck the tailing or off-load conveyor for
proper tracking. If necessary, modify tracking with the
adjustment bolts that connect to the belt extender.
Check belt tension
here (see example of
deflection to the left)
Belt tension should
be “taut” with no more
than ½” of deflection

If an adjustment is required, loosen
the four (4) mounting bolts on the
50-hp electric motor and adjust belt
tension via the two (2) tensioning
bolts beside the motor. Re-tighten
the motor mounting bolts when the
proper tension has been achieved.
