What to do if my B&K Reference 125.2 II Amplifier has no sound on some channels?
    • C
      Christopher ReedJul 31, 2025
If your B&K Amplifier has no sound on some or all selected channels, and the power LED is illuminated, here are a few things you can check: * Ensure speaker leads are tightly connected and in good condition; repair or replace if necessary. * Check the preamp to amp cables, and source to line stage cables, ensuring they are secure and in good working order. Replace or repair if needed. * Verify that the correct line stage or source is selected. * Inspect speaker fuses and replace any that are blown, using the same type and value. * If using RCA cables, make sure the balanced button is in the 'out' position to switch balanced inputs off.

Why does my B&K Reference 125.2 II sound distorted with low output?
    • J
      Jamie DyerAug 7, 2025
A distorted sound and low output from a channel on your B&K Amplifier may indicate a blown rail fuse. Warning: Replacing the rail fuse should be done with caution, as it can indicate a more significant underlying issue. Replace the fuse ONLY with the same type and value. If the fuses continue to blow, it's recommended to consult a qualified service professional because rail fuses require internal service.

Why does my B&K Amplifier sound lack direction and have weak bass?
    • E
      Elizabeth Wilson DDSAug 23, 2025
If your B&K Amplifier's sound lacks direction and has weak bass, the issue might be that the speakers are connected out of phase. Check all connections to ensure that cables are connected (+) to (+) and (-) to (-).
