Description Value
DHCP On
IP address 0.0.0.0
Subnet mask 0.0.0.0
Default gateway 0.0.0.0

Input IP settings on the projector
Before you connect the projector to your LAN m ake sure that the IP settings are set correctly, according to your LAN c onfiguration.
IP settings c an be changed using the projector On Screen Display (OSD) Settings m enu.
Set up c an be done automatically using DHCP (Dynam
ic Host Configura tion Protocol). When D HCP is enabled, it may take up to a
minute for the projector to receive IP settings from the DHCP s erver. The IP address w ill be updated and shown in the OS D. If there
is no DH CP s erver in the network the projector will be assigned a “zero configuration” add ress, 16 9.254.0.0/16.
Alternatively, DHCP can be manually disabled and the user can manually input the projector IP address, Su bnet mask and Gateway
in the LAN network menu of the OSD.
To renew an IP address, select “renew” in the O SD LA N settings menu.
Connect the projector and the host
As soon as the projector IP settings are set correctly, you can physically co nnect the selected host, for example a computer, and the
projector. This can be done in two w ays:
• use a crossover twisted pair (TP) cable directly from the computer to the projector
• use two straight-through T P cables with a HUB or a switch between them

Connect to the projector
Connect the projector and host using a standard straight through serial cable (host : f ema le, projector : male).
Pin 2 connects to Pin 2, P in 3 connects to Pin 3, and P in 5 connects to Pin 5.
